Natturer is an Old Norse word meaning, “nature; virtue, power; spirits”. These are naturally occurring powers or spirits of nature found in natural features – like stones and trees, well and falls – as well as individuals. For example, natturubragdh is “natural character”, and natturugjof means, “natural gift”. These words suggest the possibility that natturer - in regard to individuals - is inherent and so existing from birth.
